The first four entries of the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival have already been chosen.
This was revealed earlier today, July 10, during a press conference held at the office of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
The Metro Manila Film Festival Executive Committee (MMFF Execom), upon the recommendation of its Selection Committee, hereby announces the first 4 official entries to the MMFF 2019 based on script submissions.
The first four film entries are:
1. (K) Ampon, starring Derek Ramsay and Kris Aquino (Quantum Films)
2. Miracle in Cell No. 7, starring Aga Muhlach and Nadine Lustre (VIVA Films)
3. Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity, starring Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza (APT Entertainment, Inc., ZET Productions)
4. Momalland, starring Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis (ABS-CBN Film Productions and VIVA Films)
As early as April 25, Vice Ganda already disclosed that he is planning to do a movie intended for MMFF 2019.
Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis recently attended the story conference of their film, which marks the first time that they will be working together in a movie.
Their fellow cast members are Tony Labrusca, Brenda Mage, MC, and Lassy.
