“Yeah, but you know I’m not naman a person who likes to talk about it, to be quite frank about it, and that’s it. I just have a relationship,” lahad ni Mylene.
May plano ba silang magpakasal?
“No, no,” sabay iling niya. “No, I don’t want to.”
Mas click ba sila as live in partners?
“Click?! Hahaha! I don’t know if that’s the one that makes us work. But for me, why rock the boat when everything is great?”
Hindi ba siya naniniwala sa kasal?
“For myself. Not for other people, but just for me,” diin ni Mylene.
May anak na ba sila ni Jason?
“I have my two sons and Jason has his own family.”
“Oo, I think, the house is full. We don’t need, we’re fine. And if we part our ways, oh my God!
“Oh, my gosh!
Ani Mylene, “Of course, it’s flattering, siyempre. Always flattering when you get offered to do a film. Whether you’re the second, third choice, basta nandoon ka sa listahan ng choices, it’s always flattering.
“All the more when they tell you that you are the only choice. At wala kang kawala. Hahahaha!
“To be honest, in the beginning, I wasn’t sure because of the love scenes. I wasn’t sure if I was up to it.
“But I spoke to my partner, Jason, and he kind of encouraged me to accept the project. When we were still shooting the film I wasn’t sure. Because I wasn’t sure of how is it going to be.
“We’re talking about big-time love scenes that I’ve never done before. And this type, this caliber.
“It was scary.
“The whole trip, the whole journey of this, from the time that it was offered to me up to we were shooting it, up to last Saturday’s gala, it was scary. It was nerve wracking.
"Eto, intense ‘to. Said hanggang buto.”
Even kasi when I did 100, nandoon naman yung, one scene me and TJ [Trinidad] that was not even anything close to what I did in this one.
“Uhm, this is also one of the things I told Jason after I saw the film.
“She [Atty. Joji] said she has a dream and somebody needs to fulfill it. And she’s not going to take ‘no’ for an answer. And I said, if I’m going to do that one thing na lang, one big thing, let this be it, before I turn into a farmer, to some sort. Hahaha!
“Uhm, yes, I wanted to contribute in realizing her dream.”
What if may mag-insist din na ibang filmmaker na kunin siya for a movie at kailangan din ng love scene, tatanggapin ba niya?
“Parang hindi ko nakakayanin. Parang wala na akong ibibigay. Naibigay ko na lahat dito.”
