A Second Chance has earned 325 million pesos in a span of seven days.
The reunion movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo was able to reach this figure on December 1, a week after its November 25 opening day.
This was announced by Star Cinema during the blog conference of the movie held yesterday, December 2.
Will there be a third installment for A Second Chance?
According to the stars who portrayed Popoy and Basha (JLC and Bea), they would love to do a third installment but that will depend on the story and maturity of their characters.
In an earlier interview, Bea was asked if they were afraid of doing a sequel to their popular movie, One More Chance.
She pointed out, "At first, we were hesitant.
"Eventually, when they came up with a beautiful story, naisip namin, we want to stop wondering what if and we want to know what is.
"Kaya pumayag na kami sa second installment at hindi naman kami nagkamali.
"We're excited to know if they could do another one."
How much of me is Basha?
"Malaki," admitted Bea. "May malaking parte ng pagkatao ko na Basha. Kung paano siya magmahal at kung paano niya pinapangalagaan ang pangako."
