It's been a while since fans last saw the wizarding world in the Harry Potter movies.
Potterheads were excited to learn that the magic continues via a West End theater production titled Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Most Harry Potter fans won't be able to fly to London and watch the play but there is good news for the rest of us!
J.K. Rowlings, the author of the epic series, has confirmed on Twitter that there will be two more Harry Potter spin-off movies.
It started when a fan with the handle name @katehendrickson tweeted her excitement after hearing a rumor that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will also be adapted into a screenplay.
OMG - I am so excited about this! I heard it will be a movie, too. #HarryPotterCursedChild https://t.co/yaRVwyBCYZ

On March 1, J.K. Rowling clarified on her official Twitter account that there are no plans (yet!) of adapting the play to a movie and that the Fantastic Beast film will have two more movies.
You heard wrong, I'm afraid. #CursedChild is a play. #FantasticBeasts will be 3 movies, though! https://t.co/7tvw4rolcR

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will bring Harry Potter fans back to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling.
However, the movie is set more than five decades before Harry Potter was born.
It tells the story of a "magizoologist" named Newt Scamander who lost his magically expandable briefcase holding a number of magical creatures, posing a threat to both the wizarding and the human world. The lead role will be played by Oscars 2015 Best Actor Eddie Redmayne (who won for The Theory of Everything).
