Janella Salvador is reunited with former Be Careful With My Heart co-stars Richard Yap and Marlo Mortel in Mano Po 7: Chinoy. The young singer-actress also gave several reasons why Mano Po 7 is similar to Be Careful With My Heart.

For her second movie under Regal Films, Janella Salvador is set to star in the seventh installment of Mano Po dubbed as Mano Po: Chinoy topbilled by Richard Yap.

It can be noticed that this movie serves their reunion after playing father and daughter in the two-year daytime drama series Be Careful with My Heart.

When this was pointed out during the story conference of Mano Po 7: Chinoy last August 4, Janella did the expression she popularized during the show's run: "Dad! Oh My G!"

She then said, "I'm so happy, of course, kasi ang tagal na ng Be Careful, two years ago na. So makakawork ko na si Papa Chen ulit."

Papa Chen became Richard's nickname after he starred in his first project My Binondo Girl.

The 18-year-old actress also pointed out that Mano Po 7's story is somewhat similar to her previous TV series.

"Yung story, medyo similar nga sa Be Careful, e.

"Kasi may kuya ako, tapos may deaf-and-mute na sister tapos I'm longing for the love of my dad. So excited ako kung paano ko maiiba ito."

Aside from Richard, other family members also include Jean Garcia, Jana Agoncillo, and Enchong Dee.

"I'm excited to work with Marlo again, siyempre na-miss ko din naman siya."

It can be recalled that Janella was first paired with Marlo in Be Careful with My Heart, which was followed by an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.

Later on, Marlo was also tapped to be Janella's leading man in her solo projects Oh My G! and the movie Haunted Mansion, also produced by Regal Films.

The two last worked together in a music collaboration in Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2016 for the song "Mananatili."

STUDYING CELLO. This upcoming movie revolves around the Tan Family headed by Wilson Tan (Richard Yap), who despite his success as a business tycoon, is confronted by the crumbling relationships in his family.

Meanwhile, Janella plays Carol, the second child of Wilson who loves to sing but is forced by her father to study cello.

She said about her role during the presscon proper, "I'm more excited kasi it's really something different for me.

"Lalo na yung first nag-learn ako ng Japanese [for Born For You], ngayon mag-cha-Chinese naman ako.

"Lahat ng languages by the end of the year natutunan ko na! I'm excited lang because I like doing different kinds of things."
