Jennylyn Mercado gamely answered questions about working on possible movies with her ex-boyfriends.

During the press conference for her album titled Ultimate, Jennylyn Mercado under Ivory Music, Jennylyn serenaded members of the press by performing "Hagdan."

Her album reached the No. 1 spot on its first day of release on iTunes--the only OPM album to achieve this feat so far.

Her seven-track album features the carrier single "Hagdan" and collaborations with Christian Bautista for a remake of "Suddenly" and "Bulalakaw" with Silent Sanctuary. Other tracks include "Nakaw-tingin," "Huling Paalam," "Lampara," and "Magkaibang Mundo."

The GMA-7 actress said there has not been any offers for her to star in a movie with rumored boyfriend Dennis Trillo.

If ever, would she be willing to work with Dennis?

"Bakit hindi? I'm sure hindi ako mahihirapan pagdating sa aktingan. Hindi rin ako maiilang kasi nakagawa na kami ng mga soap," said Jennylyn, referring to their now defunct Kapuso teleserye My Faithful Husband.

Would she also be willing to work with her ex-boyfriend Luis Manzano?

"Hindi ko pa po alam, pero professional naman po ako, kaya ko naman yun."

For the past two years, Jennylyn has had a winning streak in the Best Actress category of the Metro Manila Film Fest.

She earned the Best Actress trophy for English Only Please in 2014 and Walang Forever in 2015.

Did she receive offers to star in another MMFF entry this year?

“May offer naman, kaya lang po nagkaroon ng problema sa schedule. Dapat kasi sisimulan na namin yung soap sa GMA, e, kaya lang po, na-delay kaya noong time na yun, hindi namin tinanggap yung movie kasi kung magso-soap ako tapos may movie pa.

"Gusto ko naman mag-focus sa soap kasi baka mamaya, haggard na naman ako,” she explained.

"Na-delay din yung soap. Baka last week pa ng October ang taping namin."

What happened to her supposed movie with Coco Martin?

"Hindi lang po natuloy," she said with a laugh.

When asked if this is because of the Philippine version of My Love From the Star, she answered: "Opo."

She will portray Steffi Cheon in GMA-7's remake of the Koreanovela about a human actress who falls in love with an alien.
