Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, KathNiel lead winners at 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards

Vice Ganda and Coco Martin will be honored with Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema award at the 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards next month. Vice and Coco were the lead stars of the highest-grossing film of 2016, The Super Parental Guardians.


Ang Kapamilya stars na sina Vice Ganda at Coco Martin ang itatanghal ng Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema sa 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards ng Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

Ito ay para sa phenomenal success ng kanilang pinagsamahang pelikula noong 2016, ang The Super Parental Guardians ng Star Cinema.

Ang Kapamilya loveteam na sina Daniel Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo naman ang itatanghal na Box Office King at Box Office Queen dahil sa tagumpay ng kanilang 2016 movie na Barcelona (Star Cinema).

Maliban sa Phenomenal Star of Philippine Cinema, si Coco ay bibigyan din ng Breakthrough Performance by an Actor in A Single Program award para sa long-running primetime series niyang FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ng ABS-CBN.

Mismong ang FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ay pararangalan naman bilang Most Popular TV Program Primetime Drama.

Maging ang ibang mga kasamahan ni Coco sa Ang Probinsyano ay makakatanggap din ng awards: Arjo Atayde (TV Supporting Actor of the Year), Susan Roces (TV Supporting Actress of the Year), Yassi Pressman (Most Promising TV Actress of the Year), McNeal “Awra” Briguela (Breakthrough Child Star of Movies & TV), at si Simon “Onyok” Pineda (Most Popular Male Child Performer).

Ang Kapuso Primetime King na si Dingdong Dantes ang napiling Film Actor of the Year para sa The Unmarried Wife ng Star Cinema.

Ang Star For All Seasons naman na si Vilma Santos ang Film Actress of the Year para sa Everything About Her ng Star Cinema.

Sina Jericho Rosales at Kim Chiu naman ang napiling TV Actor and Actress of the Year para sa kanilang mga teleseryeng Magpahanggang Wakas at The Story of Us, respectively.

Ang Kapuso loveteam na sina Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza ang napiling Prince and Princess of Philippine Movies para sa kanilang hit movie na Imagine Me and You.

Maliban dito, si Aden din ang napiling Male Recording Artist of the Year dahil sa kanyang Wish I May (GMA Records) album na umabot na ng Diamond Record at Say It Again album (GMA Records) na nag-Gold Record na.

Si Sarah Geronimo naman ang nanalong Female Recording Artist of the Year para sa kanyang The Great Unknown album (Viva Records) na umabot na sa Platinum Record.

Ang Kapamilya at Viva stars namang sina James Reid at Nadine Lustre ang itinanghal na Prince and Princess of Philippine Television para sa kanilang primetime series noong 2016 na Till I Met You.

Ang awards night ng 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards ay gaganapin sa Henry Lee Irwin Theater, sa Ateneo de Manila University, sa May 14.
