Director Joyce Bernal has thrilled fans of Sarah Geronimo and James Reid with her post of a behind-the-scenes video of Miss Granny on her Instagram account.
The video shows Sarah doing a cute dance, while James, playing an electric guitar, stares at her.
The behind-the-scenes footage of the movie received positive reactions from Popsters (Sarah's fans) and JaDines (fans of James Reid and his real-life girlfriend Nadine Lustre).
However, one netizen using the handle @fiercelhae_anne11 questioned the scene, taking note of Sarah's role as a grandmother to James in the film.
The netizen "threatened" Direk Joyce that "JaDine fans" could boycott the movie.
She wrote, "..maglola sila dito di ba??anong paandar to?? Hindi naman nya leading man si james dito..hinay hinay sa ganto direk kasi baka imbes na bumenta mabwiset pa mga jadine fans at iboycott tong movie..madami na ngang naiinis eh"
Direk Joyce quickly responded to the netizen by posting two separate comments: "wow!" and "first time ko mag post hinay hinay????? Never!!!!"
JaDine fans were quick to defend themselves, saying they were also excited for the movie and they did not agree with the netizen's "boycott" threat.
The Miss Granny director then pacified the fans arguing in her comments section, posting this: "chill na guys!"
Miss Granny is an adaptation of a 2014 Korean film about a woman in her 70s who suddenly finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self.
No announcement has been made yet regarding the showing date of Miss Granny.
