Ryza Cenon wins Yakushi Pearl Award at Osaka Asian Film Festival 2018

May kapalit na maganda para kay Ryza Cenon ang pagwawakas ng Ika-6 Na Utos, ang top-rating afternoon drama series ng GMA-7, dahil siya ang nanalong Best Actress sa awarding ceremony ng Osaka Asian Film Festival 2018 na ginanap sa Osaka, Japan, kahapon, March 17.

Nagwagi si Ryza para sa performance niya sa Mr. & Mrs. Cruz, ang pelikula ng Viva Films na pinagbidahan nila ni JC Santos at ipinalabas sa local theaters noong January 24, 2018.

Personal na tinanggap ni Ryza ang Yakushi Pearl Award na katumbas ng Most Brilliant Performer Award.


Si Ryza ang pangalawang Filipina actress na nanalong Best Actress sa Osaka Asian Film Festival dahil noong nakaraang taon, si Iza Calzado ang recipient ng Yakushi Pearl Award para sa acting niya sa Bliss.

Hindi lamang si Ryza ang binigyan ng parangal sa Osaka Asian Film Festival 2018.

Tumanggap ng Most Promising Talent Award si Mikhael Red, ang direktor ng NeoManila.

Kasama sa Philippine delegates sa Osaka Asian Film Festival 2018 sina Ryza, MTRCB Chair Rachel Arenas, MTRCB board member Joey Romero, FDCP Chair Liza DiƱo, Mr. & Mrs. Cruz director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, at sina Eula Valdes at Rocky Salumbides, ang mga artista ng NeoManila.

Kasama rin ni Ryza ang kanyang boyfriend na si Cholo Barretto.


Nagsimula noong March 9 at magtatapos ngayong Sabado, March 18, ang Osaka Asian Film Festival 2018.
