This romance drama earned PHP142,347,119.26 as of September 30, according to ABS-CBN Films’ subsidiary Black Sheep.
Directed by Dan Villegas, the movie opened in Philippine cinemas on September 26, 2018.
In Exes Baggage, a real estate broker named Pia crosses paths with a furniture designer named Nix. They enter into a relationship while still getting over their past heartbreak.
Former sweethearts Angelica and Carlo, more popularly known as CarGel, are reunited after being seen in the youth-oriented show G-Mik.
Exes Baggage is rated PG by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) and Graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
GMA-7 actress Camille Prats was one of the celebrities who congratulated Angelica and Carlo for the strong performance of Exes Baggage in the box office.
Last September 28, Angelica posted on Instagram to express her gratitude since their film earned over P43.7 million in a span of two days.
Camille commented on her post: “Congratulations Junjun and Jelai!!!! Can’t wait to watch this sis!!!!”
Junjun and Jelai are the characters portrayed by Carlo and Angelica, respectively, in ABS-CBN's G-Mik.
They played sweethearts onscreen and this paved the way for them to become a real-life couple. However, they broke up around 2005.
Camille was cast as Roni in the 1999 TV show G-Mik.
