Nadine Lustre is still unsure whether she and and real-life boyfriend James Reid will be paired again for a teleserye.
The last teleserye of the Jadine love team was Till I Met You (2016-2017).
Prior to that, they starred in On The Wings of Love (2015-2016).
Both were prime-time teleseryes that aired on ABS-CBN.
For now, the two are busy with their respective projects.
James is currently preparing for the remake of Pedro Penduko and Nadine reveals that she might be joining James in the movie.
Asked when they will be paired again for a project, Nadine replied, “I don’t know. But for now po kasi James has Pedro… I mean nasa Pedro din naman po ako, according to Direk [Paul Basinillo].
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press spoke with Nadine last Monday, November 19.
“Actually, hindi pa po kasi nila ako nakakausap about it, but yun nga po nasabi nga po nila sa akin, that’s one.
“And the TV [project], I’m not yet sure.”
But Nadine remains hopeful.
Their priority now is finishing their respective projects.
“Pero soon po 'yan. Marami pa po kasing naka-line up and we really wanna focus on what’s here now para, at least, yung effort namin hindi siya divided.
“Kasi mahirap din naman yung marami, parang multi-tasking.
“Nagawa na rin po namin yon before and sobrang nakakapagod. The effort is not 100 percent, so focus po muna on projects now.”
Nevertheless, Nadine assures fans that she and James still make time for each other despite their busy schedules.
“We still have a lot of time. Pag wala pong work, kami ang magkasama, so palagi po kaming magkasama.”
PROJECT WITH SAM
Last November 19, a story conference was held for Nadine’s upcoming dance musical movie with Sam Concepcion.
“I’m so excited. We’re really good friends. Ako, sobrang excited ako na makatrabaho [si Sam],” said Nadine about working on new movie titled Indak.
Sam added, “Parang [after] all the years na magkakilala tayo, ngayon lang talaga kami magsasama for work.”
The actress continued, “We’re super excited kasi it will be a lot of dancing, a lot of prod numbers. That’s what I’m really looking forward to.”
Sam added: “And the dancing is not gonna be regular, kasi we’re supposed to be a competition level group, so we’ll do competition training dancing.”
Indak is expected to be released next year.
