Vice Ganda brought the house down when he joked about his childhood fantasy.
The star of Fantastica was asked to recall his greatest fantasy when he was a young kid.
"Fantasies? Nung bata ako, wala, nagma-masturbate ako, e," quipped Vice Ganda, eliciting laughter from select attendees at the blog con for his 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry.
Turning serious, Vice Ganda answered during the December 15 event held at the ABS-CBN compound:
"Nung bata ako, ang fantasy ko lang talaga yung kumakanta ako tapos ka-duet ko si Regine Velasquez. Isa sa biggest fantasies ko yun.
"Tapos hindi talaga artista, singer talaga yung ini-imagine ko yung sarili ko at katulad ko si Regine.
"Yun yung pinaka-bongga kong fantasy dati. Akala ko, fantasy lang siya but because life is fantastic and the Lord is fantastic, I am given the chance to share the stage with Regine Velasquez.
"Come February, I will be having a concert with Regine Velasquez sa Araneta Coliseum. Nagkatotoo ang fantasy."
The ABS-CBN star then recalled the first time he performed for a crowd in Cubao.
"Alam niyo ba, ang first Araneta ko, ang first tuntong ko sa Araneta [stage], concert ni Regine, yung R2K."
R2K: The Concert was held at the Big Dome from April 7–8, 2000.
Vice Ganda turned to Dingdong Dantes and reminded him that he was a guest at that same concert.
"Guest ako sa R2K. Kami yung mga Reginettes. Kasi dati, kumakanta pa ko ng Regine, may boses pa ko na falsetto, nawala na lang ngayon.
"Kumakanta ako ng 'You'll Never Walk Alone' sa Araneta kasama si Regine.
"First Araneta ko at this time, magko-concert na kami, dalawa kami."
To end, the It's Showtime host encouraged everyone by saying, "Yung mga fantasies, huwag niyong bibitawan kasi malay mo, magkatotoo siya because life is fantastic."
As for Fantastica co-stars Richard Gutierrez and Dingdong, it turned out that they have similar childhood fantasies.

Richard said about his childhood fantasies:
"Ako, yung mga dreams ko nung bata ako...mahilig kasi ako sa mga movies, action movies, fantasy movies.
"Yung dad ko [Eddie Gutierrez], nakikita ko na gumaganap sa mga pelikula so ako ang dream ko before was to be a soldier, to be a cowboy, to be different characters.
"Never in my wildest dreams naisip ko na magagawa ko yun, na ma-portray ko yung mga characters na dine-dream ko lang before when I was a kid.
"Ngayon, nagkakakatotoo kasi bilang artista, you're given the chance to portray different characters. Nagkatotoo rin yung mga fantasies ko nung bata ako."

As for Dingdong, his imagination as a kid veered towards having supernatural powers.
"Halos pareho nung kay Richard pero ako naman, parating umuulit na fantasy yung paglipad sa bubong, basta may kinalaman sa flight."
Vice Ganda takes pride in the casting coup achieved by Fantastica, which is directed by Barry Gonzalez.
"Bakit ka hihindi [sa proyekto] kung may Chard [Richard's nickname] at Dong sa paligid mo?
"Hindi nila nagawa 'yan!
"Walang magandang babaeng artista ang nakapagsabi na may Dingdong at may Richard siya!
"Hindi nagawa ni Angel [Locsin], ni Anne Curtis...si Vice Ganda lang 'yan!
"Huwag silang loloko-loko sa harapan ko!" said the TV host-comedian.
