Vice Ganda confirmed that Maris Racal and Inigo Pascual were supposed to be part of the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival Fantastica.
"Originally, dapat kasama sila sa love teams pero hindi uubra ang schedule ni Inigo.
"Kaya kailangan namin palitan pati si Maris. Hindi na rin siya nakasama kasi team silang dalawa," explained Vice Ganda during the blog conference of Fantastica.
During the announcent of the first four entries of MMFF 2018, the Star Cinema movie was titled Fantastica: The Princess, The Prince, and the Perya.
The cast members announced last June were Vice Ganda, Maris Racal, Loisa Andalio, and Maymay Entrata.
However, when the story conference was held in July, it was revealed that the MarNigo love team of Maris and Inigo was no longer included.
The MMFF 2018 entry then tapped the love teams LoiNie (Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte), DonKiss (Donny Pangilinan and Kisses Delavin), and MayWard (Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber).
During the recent blog con, Vice Ganda also opened up about working with hia leading men Richard Gutierrez and Dingdong Dantes.
The It's Showtime host said about the two guys:
"Fantastic sila kasi team players sila.
"They are both fantastic kasi hindi nila pinaramdam sa akin na mahirap silang ka-trabaho.
"Iba ang tingin ko sa lalaking mabuting makitungo sa bakla.
"Kasi, di ba, yung mga lalaki alam mo na yung kakayahan nila makitungo sa mga kapwa nila lalaki at sa mga babae.
"Sa mga kapwa nila lalaki, maayos silang makitungo. Mas lalo na sa mga babae.
"Pero kapag mabuti silang makitungo sa bakla, mas lalo kong ina-appreciate ang pagkatao nung lalaki.
"Si Dong at si Richard, hindi naman sila mga pangkaraniwang lalaki. Iba ang estado nila.
"Pero hindi nila pinaramdam nila sa akin na, 'Bakla ka.'
"Pinaramdam nila sa akin na, 'Katrabaho ka namin at pantay-pantay tayo dito.'

Following the MMFF annual tradition, Fantastica opens on December 25, Christmas Day, along with the other seven entries: Aurora; Jack Em Popoy: The PulisCredibles; Mary, Marry Me; One Great Love; The Girl in the Orange Dress; Rainbow's Sunset; and Otlum.
