Naapektuhan ba si Kim Chiu nang matalo siya bilang Best Actress sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 awards night?
Nominated ang ABS-CBN actress para sa pelikula niyang One Great Love ngunit ang nagwagi ay si Gloria Romero ng Rainbow's Sunset.
Ilang oras pagkatapos ng MMFF 2018 awards night, nag-post ang kanyang boyfriend, ang actor na si Xian Lim, ng litrato sa kanyang Instagram Stories kunsaan makikita na umiiyak si Kim.
Ginanap ang Gabi ng Parangal sa Theatre @ Solaire noong December 26.
Sinulat ni Xian sa caption sa litrato ni Kim: "It's OK, you did your best."
Naglagay pa si Xian ng hashtag na #morecinemasforonegreatlove dahil nabawasan ng sinehan ang naturang pelikula dahil sa mahinang kinita nito sa first two days of showing nito. Kamakailan ay nadagdagan na ang mga moviehouses para dito.
Bago kasi naganap ang MMFF 2018 awards night, maraming nakapanood sa premiere night ng One Great Love ang nagsasabi na malakas ang chance ni Kim na manalong Best Actress.
Pero ang veteran actress na si Ms. Gloria Romero ang nagwaging Best Actress para sa MMFF 2018 official entry na Rainbow's Sunset.
Napanalunan ng One Great Love ang awards na 3rd Best Picture, Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), at Best Musical Score.
Kinabukasan (December 27) ay nag-post si Kim sa kanyang Instagram account ng congratulatory message kay Gloria Romero at pagpapasalamat niya sa Regal Entertainment dahil nagawa niya ang pelikulang One Great Love.

Pinost ni Kim sa Instagram account niya na nasa Shanghai, China siya kasama si Xian. Doon na sila nag-celebrate sa pagpasok ng 2019.
