Matteo Guidicelli will showcase his musical talent for upcoming movie, Basted

Matteo Guidicelli, who studied musical theatre in college, is excited to show his passion for music through the upcoming movie Basted. He will be paired with Maja Salvador, whose character is a girl who often breaks the hearts of her suitors.

Ayon kay Matteo, "This is my first movie. It’s such a blessing because, first of all, I’m here with Gerald and Sarah. Even though my role is very small, I still am so blessed to be part of this movie."

Kamusta ang experience niya bilang isang rapper?

"[It’s something] very different," salaysay ni Matteo ukol sa role niya. "I’ve never played something like this before. Kahit maliit yung role ko, I did something different. As you saw, I was jologs, I was a rapper. Iba. I’m very happy to be part of the movie."

"The people who wrote the rap were Janus [del Prado] and Ketchup [Eusebio, his co-stars in this movie]. I had to practice a hundred million times before I went on set. Alam mo naman, hirap ako mag-Tagalog, kailangan talaga i-practice. It was a challenge for me."

Gayunpaman, masaya si Matteo. "I loved it. I loved every experience of it!"

"I never give up in real life. I always go, go, go until I reach my goal," saad ng binata.

Ayon sa StarAd Prom, inabot ng "almost P15 million" ang kinita ng Catch Me I’m in Love sa opening day nito sa mga sinehan. (CLICK HERE to read related article)

WORKING WITH MAJA SALVADOR.

"It’s very different.

"Maja and I are very, very good friends. We’re very, very close. We’re working on the movie together and that’s what’s getting us even closer."

"Maja inspires me a lot. We work together, almost everyday. She loves her work and she inspires me. She’s more experienced, so tinuturuan niya talaga ako. She’s one of my inspirations."

"I studied musical theater for college in the States.

May single rin siya na released in digital format under Star Records titled "Someone Like You." (CLICK HERE to read related article)
