John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin paired anew for I Honestly Love You

After their teamup in the action fantaserye Imortal, John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin are paired again for a Star Cinema movie tentatively titled I Honestly Love You .

After being paired in ABS-CBN’s fantaserye Imortal, John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin will soon be seen on the big screen for the movie tentatively titled I Honestly Love You.

John Lloyd told ABS-CBN News in an interview recently, "Sigurado na po, totoo na po ito. This calls for a celebration."

The actor, who was recently declared the "Most Beautiful Star of 2011" by YES! magazine said that he was excited to work again with his leading lady in Imortal.

For her part, Angel also admitted that she is excited to work again after being away from the limelight for some time. The actress was last seen on the big screen for the romantic drama In the Name of Love, which paired her with Aga Muhlach. Last May, Rentrak reported that the Filipino movie grossed $1.9 million in one week, making it the 15th highest grossing movie worldwide as of May 18, 2011.

"Ako excited ako kasi matagal na din yung Imortal. Parang ang tagal ko ding nagpahinga tapos pagbalik ko si Lloydie agad ang kasama ko," said Angel with a smile.

TRIP WITH PHIL. Angel recently returned from a business and pleasure trip in Paris.

She is romantically linked to Azkals heartthrob Phil Younghusband who followed her to Paris. The Kapamilya actress revealed "Nasabi niya sa akin yun dati na susunod siya pero hindi ko naman in-expect."

When asked if she already gave her "yes" to the football player, Angel replied "Gusto ko munang i-make sure at kilalanin."


John Lloyd disclosed that they will try their best to give moviegoers a fresh story and unique performance.

He added, "Kahit na lagi naming sinasabi kaming mga artista, kaming gumagawa ng pelikula, lagi we wanna offer something different, something new, well talaga naman that’s always the intention."

Meanwhile, fans have been clamoring for John Lloyd to work with Sarah Geronimo or Bea Alonzo with whom he has teamed up in past films. He remarked, "Kung puwede lang sabay-sabay gawin, di ba? Pero lahat kami may mga timetable na sinusunod."
