Philpop 2014 winners unveiled; Kyla interprets winning entry "Salbabida"

Kyla (left) believes the song "Salbabida" won Philpop 2014 because of its inspiring message. Veteran composer Jungee Marcelo (right) created this inspirational song about his wife, Anna Marie, and God whom he considers his personal lifelines.

Jungee was also a winner sa Philpop 2012.

Pero sa tingin niya what made “Salbabida” win was the song’s inspiring message.

Second runner-up naman si Daryl Ong via his composition “Torpe” that was interpreted by Kris Lawrence.

Winner ng People’s Choice Award ang “Kung Akin ang Langit,” written by Cecilia Bocobo and Isaac Joseph Garcia, and interpreted by McCoy Fundales at Clara Benin.
