Julie Anne San Jose makes it to a billboard on New York’s famous Times Square!
The Kapuso singer—dubbed by the network as Asia’s Pop Diva—is featured on a billboard for the music streaming platform Spotify.
The billboard is for Spotify’s Equal campaign which highlights the work of women creators from all over the world who are on the online streaming platform.
This campaign also aims to provide equality among women in the music industry.
Julie Anne proudly shared the photo on her Instagram account today, July 22, 2021.
She wrote in the caption: “TIMES SQUARE, NEW YORK BABYYYY!!! Just.. SURREAL. Big thank you @spotify! This is a dream come true!

Kapuso stars Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali, Kakai Bautista, and Jeric Gonzales congratulated Julie Anne for this achievement.
Julie Anne is also the cover photo of Spotify’s Equal Philippines playlist for July.
Her latest single, “Free,” is featured on the platform’s Equal Global playlist alongside international artists like Doja Cat, David Guetta, Ariana Grande, among others.
Julie Anne co-wrote the song with Eduardo Gonzalez and Denise Pimping. It is produced by a team of producers from the US and the Philippines.
Julie Anne is also set to headline a digital concert called Limitless.
