Jolina Magdangal enjoys being a part of ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime variety show, ASAP.
In fact, she currently has her own segment titled “LSS: Love Songs and Stories.” The segment lets Jolina read letters about love stories of real people.
Singers on ASAP such as Erik Santos, Angeline Quinto, Kyla, Piolo Pascual, and teen stars Janella Salvador, Darren Espanto, Elmo Magalona, Sue Ramirez, Ylona Garcia and Bailey May will then perform songs dedicated to the letter-senders.
While regular ASAP viewers have been already used to watching this segment, Jolina revealed during the press conference of her comeback album Back To Love earlier, March 1, that it was only supposed to be one episode.
Jolina is also happy that she also gets to do what she loves dearly: singing.
HAVING A CONCERT. Now that Jolina is back in the recording scene, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) also asked her during the press conference proper if she also sees herself having a concert.
COLLABORATION WITH VICE GANDA. In one of her tracks, Jolina had a collaboration with Vice Ganda.
They performed a revival of Jolina’s hit song during the '90s, “Chuva Choo Choo.”
Jolina revealed that they did not record their duet together, but they were able to talk before they had their own recording schedules.
“[Sabi ko], “Kahit anong gusto mong gawin sa 'Chuva Choo Choo,' go! Kasi alam kong mapapabongga mo 'yan!”
The track “Chuva Choo Choo” was then used as the official theme song of Vice Ganda’s 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Beauty and The Bestie.
