GMA-7 singer and Top One Project (T.O.P.) member Miko Manguba is now with ABS-CBN.
The 24-year-old singer signed a recording contract with ABS-CBN's music label, Star Music, last December 13, 2018.
On his Instagram account, Miko expressed his excitement over his career move.
He wrote, "An early Christmas gift — and definitely my 2018 plot twist.
"Thank you sir @roxy.liquigan , sir @jonathanmanalo, tita Marivic, Ms. @abbeyaledo, and sir @jeffyvictoria for entrusting me to be your new solo artist for @starmusicph!
"Got a long way to go but I'm very glad to be starting this new journey with ABSCBN. Excited to finally share with you my music with my new home, mga bago kong Kapamilya."
Miko first joined showbiz in 2015, when he became a finalist of GMA-7's To The Top. This televised reality program formed a boyband that was launched by the Kapuso network.
Miko was one of the winners together with Adrian Pascual, Joshua Jacobe, Louie Pedroso, and Mico Cruz, and they formed the boyband called Top One Project, or T.O.P.
In 2016, they launched their debut album.
They also performed a revival of the theme song of GMA-7's fantasy series Mulawin, "Ikaw Nga," which was originally performed by Southborder.
Their version was used as theme song for Mulawin's 2017 sequel, Mulawin vs. Ravena.
Among those who congratulated Miko in his latest career move is his former TOP bandmate, Mico Cruz.
Mico wrote, "we got your back Kapamilya hahaha best of luck Miks! Ace this!"

Star Music has yet to reveal Miko's future projects with ABS-CBN.
