Jovit Baldivino releases his second album titled I'd Do Anything For Love

Following the success of his first album Faithfully, which has already reached Platinum Record Status, Jovit Baldivino is slated to release another album.

Titled I'd Do Anything For Love, this album features Jovit's powerful and distinct voice as he performs popular love rock songs, as well as the talented singer's original composition.

"Nananaginip ng Gising" is Jovit's first composition. The lyrics tell the story of someone in love with a girl, but he can't do anything but just daydream.

Other songs included in the album are "I Can Wait Forever," "I'll Do Anything For Love," "Please Forgive Me," "Mahal Pa Rin Kita," and "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All." The carrier single of the album is "Carrie," a song that has made Jovit famous all over the country.

FIRST MAJOR CONCERT. Even if Jovit claims that he is young to be in love, his love and passion for music stands out in every performance.

In his first major concert last November 13, Jovit treated the audience members present at the Aliw Theater with a night of rock and good music.

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) got the chance to talk to Jovit right after the concert. The 17-year-old singer was overwhelmed and happy with the turn-out of the concert.

"Siyempre po sobrang saya, wala po talaga ako masabi sa sarili ko," he said.

Fellow singer Nyoy Volante, whom he fondly calls "Kuya Nyoy" was the concert's musical director. Mr. Johnny Manahan was the producer of the show.

STILL GROUNDED. Despite the string of achievements that has come his way, he says that he remains grounded.

The former siomai vendor stressed that he will always be the same Jovit that people know from his hometown in Rosario, Batangas.

Whenever his work schedule is light, he always finds the time travel to Batangas to be with his family and friends.

"'Pag wala po akong ginagawa, gusto ko pong binibisita yung mga kaibigan ko na iniwan ko sa Batangas. Dati po kasi sa Batangas, 'pag wala po ako pasok, tumatambay po kami... nagkwekwentuhan po kami," Jovit revealed.

Lastly, he has a simple message to those who claims that he has changed: "Sila lang naman po ang nagsasabi na lumaki na ulo ko. Basta alam ko po, ng mga kaibigan ko, at ng pamilya ko ang totoo," said Jovit with a smile.
