Three out of the 10 overall top trending searches in the Philippines for 2015 were related to the AlDub love team.
According to Google Philippines, AlDub was the No. 1 most searched term for 2015, beating the number of searches for Pope Francis (who landed in the No. 2 spot).
Maine Mendoza landed on the No. 3 slot while Alden Richards held the No. 6 spot in the list of Top 10 Google trends in the Philippines for 2015.
The top trending search terms were revealed during the Google Year In Search event held on December 16 at Pablo's Pub and Restaurant in Bonifacio Global City.
