If there are some stars who caused changes during the production of a teleserye, there are also celebrities replaced in roles they were set to portray in a TV series.
Try to imagine these characters being played by the first people supposedly chosen for them.
These replacements were done for a variety of reasons: some were due to network transfers, career moves, there were those not fit for the role, or the celebrities and/or network simply had a change in plans.
There are times when the lead stars of a certain teleserye were already announced but as a saying in TV production goes, nothing is final until a show is aired.
