Michael de Mesa expressed his gratitude for being chosen to become a director of the Coco Martin-starrer Ang Probinsyano.

The veteran actor posted several photos of him instructing the cast of the ABS-CBN prime-time series.

Michael wrote in the caption:

"Isang malaking karangalan na ako’y maging DIREKTOR ng “Ang Probinsyano” sa episode ngayong gabi at sa mga darating na mga araw. Salamat sa tiwala @mr.cocomartin, @montie08, and @dreamscapeph #fpjsangprobinsyano"

Michael also posted a screenshot of the credits wherein he listed as one of the directors along with Malu Sevilla, Enzo Williams, and Rodel Nacianceno (the real name of Coco Martin).

Aside from serving as a director, Michael is still one of the actors who is part of the group Vendetta being led by Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin).

It will be recalled that in November 2018, director Toto Natividad left Ang Probinsyano to work on a rival show of the Kapamilya series. Direk Toto became a guest director of GMA-7's now defunct show Cain At Abel, which was top-billed by Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo.
