Idol Philippines judge Moira dela Torre (left) counters Regine Velasquez's (right) opinion that most aspiring singers tend to sound the same: “It's not that easy to find a unique sound.”

“I respect her decision. I mean, she knows what she is talking about.

"If there's someone to listen to, it's her. I respect that about her.

“As an artist, ang hirap maghanap ng sound na kumportable ka para ma-express mo ang yung sarili the best way you can.

“But because I was given a chance, nag-evolve ako.

“But I also know, eventually when they are given the right push, the right confidence, they will find their own voice.”

TUNOG-MOIRA

“Alam ko, puwedeng tama, puwedeng mali, pero masakit pa rin yun for an artist trying to find her own voice.

“So when I hear that, nato-torn ako.

“We share the same dressing room, same banyo.
