GMA-7's afternoon series, Inagaw na Bituin, aired its final episode last Friday, May 17, 2019.
The teleserye, which aired its pilot episode on February 11, 2019, was top-billed Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar.
It also marked the first time that three of GMA-7's original drama princesses were part of one series: Angelu de Leon, Angelika dela Cruz, and Sunshine Dizon. All three of them starred in their own GMA-7 teleseryes in the late '90s to the early 2000s.
The last episode of Inagaw na Bituin showed Belinda (Sunshine) and Oreng's (Angelu) battle in retrieving Anna (Kyline), after Lucy (Angelika) kidnapped her.
Belinda and Lucy, who were estranged sisters, had a face-off when they pointed guns at each other. Belinda begged Lucy to have a change of heart and surrender herself to the police.
Lucy was about to fire her gun at Belinda, but her gun ran out of bullets.
Belinda thought that her sister would finally surrender, but Lucy was actually hiding another gun behind her back.
Oreng quickly pushed Lucy before she could fire her other gun. The police then arrived and shot Lucy to death.
Belinda and Oreng were able to rescue Anna, after Prince (Manolo Pedrosa) helped them save her.
After the kidnapping, Belinda and Oreng were at peace again, and Anna & Prince continued their blossoming romance.
In the end, Anna resumed her singing career and had a concert. She performed the song "Kinang," which was composed by her late father Edward (Marvin Agustin), and an original hit of her mom Belinda.
Inagaw na Bituin was initially rumored to end on its 10th week, but the series aired its final episode on its 16th week.
