Judy Ann Santos, Ryan Agoncillo want to avoid competing on the same timeslot

Judy Ann Santos and husband Ryan Agoncillo have agreed not to let their respective TV shows air on the same timeslot again.

It can be remembered that while Judy Ann was hosting ABS-CBN's Bet on Your Baby, Ryan’s game show titled Picture! Picture! also had the same timeslot on GMA-7.

At that time, the celebrity couple could be heard greeting each other on their respective shows.

It looked cute at first but both Judy Ann and Ryan do not want it to happen again.

“Kaya napag-usapan namin na isang beses lang siya mangyayari kasi parang kinakalaban na namin ang isa’t isa,” said Judy Ann when asked if there's a chance for her new show I Do to have the same timeslot as Ryan’s weekend sitcom Ismol Family.

During the press conference of I Do, Judy Ann narrated how she and Ryan arrived at this decision.

She explained, “Nabanggit lang namin noong mag-e-end na ‘yong first season ng Bet on Your Baby, sabi ko mag-e-end na siya at baka mag-resume by next year.

“So, nagpaka-professional kami and we enjoyed the ride.

“Parang we just have to finish that there kasi parang kapag sinunod-sunod mo, sasabihin naman ng mga tao parang namihasa.”

I Do airs every weekend, starting this Saturday, August 30, on ABS-CBN.

What is the most important tip she got from Ryan?

She pointed out, “Basta ang sabi lang niya sa akin is be confident with my words, listen carefully sa bawat sasabihin ng guest, and understand ‘yong pinagdadaanan nila and you have to be involved kung paano mo sila kakausapin.

The actress-TV host is grateful to ABS-CBN for giving her new hosting jobs.

In the realiserye I Do, Judy Ann will be following the life stories of nine couples whose lives will be tested inside the I Do village before they say their vows to each other.

Throughout the competition, the couples will be guided by Judy Ann, life coach Pia Acevedo, and psychologist and marriage counselor Dr. Julian Montano.

Co-host Jayson Gainza, on the other hand, will be joining Judy Ann in giving out challenges to couples.

The winning couple will be determined by public votes and will bring home P1 million, house and lot, and their dream grand wedding.

The pilot episode of I Do will unveil the love stories of the nine couples, who are composed of the following: business partners who have become a romantic couple, a Korean-Pinay pair who showcase a fusion of their cultures, an engaged couple ready to settle, high-school sweethearts who have a long romantic history, a couple struggling to confront their haunting past, a couple who have been together for just three months, neighbors who have become lovers, a couple with a 19-year age gap, and a young pair who are already parents.
