Oct 25, 2019

Remember the Pera o Bayong segment of MTB (Magandang Tanghali Bayan)?

This 2019, ABS-CBN Regional brings back the popular game Pera o Bayong as a digital game show.

Fans can experience the same kind of thrill in the comfort of their homes, straight from their phones and with real-life cash payout!

Pera o Bayong aims to give Filipinos across the Philippines, and from any part of the world, an equal chance to play and win cash prizes.

Together with MOR-FM and in partnership with Kumu, a Filipino social network and livestreaming app, this digital Pera o Bayong (PoB) is part of ABS-CBN Corporation’s efforts to be in the service of the Filipino across all platforms.

Hosted by DJ Kokoy Martin, a disc jockey from MOR 101.1 Davao, Pera o Bayong will have two (2) rounds.

First round will be trivia-based, where users can participate through their smartphones, by answering questions directly on the app. All participants who get to answer all ten (10) questions correctly splits the initial cash prize for the day.

After the trivia questions, one (1) lucky participant will be randomly picked to play for the Pera o Bayong round. The participant begins by choosing one of the three (3) bayongs, each of which conceals a pot prize which the contestant will play for. There will be a bargaining session where the host would offer cash (pera) in exchange for the prize hidden in the bayong.

All winning participants may cash out their prizes.

The game will run every 8 PM Mondays to Fridays on Kumu, starting October 28, 2019. It will also be simultaneously aired across selected MOR Stations nationwide.

Download the Kumu app for free and tune in to your favorite MOR station to learn more about the digital version of Pera o Bayong.
