Maja Salvador on John Lloyd Cruz leaving their TV series: "May mga valid reasons siya."

Pero siyempre may mga valid reasons siya, e, kailangan natin tanggapin yun," said Maja Salvador about JLC backing out from their teleserye Bridges.

Maja Salvador recently opened up about John Lloyd Cruz leaving the ABS-CBN teleserye with the working title Bridges. Xian Lim has reportedly taken the place of John Lloyd in this soap opera that stars Maja and Jericho Rosales.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press, Maja admitted that she felt regret upon learning that she missed out on the chance to work with JLC.

“Gusto ko man, [pero] parang sinabi na ni Xian...[it was] announced that it’s him na.”

Even though she missed out on the chance to work with John Lloyd, Maja said she respects his “valid reasons.”

The actress clarified that she did not feel disappointment and she’s confident that audiences will still love their soap because of the plot.

A NEW PLOT. Maja revealed the story will be different from her role in The Legal Wife wherein she and then co-star Angel Locsin were vying for the same man.
