Marian Rivera is set to make her teleserye comeback after three years.
The actress, who is dubbed as the "Kapuso Primetime Queen," met with the creative and production team of her upcoming series titled First Yaya. The meeting took place today, November 28, 2019 at the GMA-7 office.
The show's senior program manager, Ali Nokom-Dedicatoria, posted a photo of their meeting on Instagram.
She wrote on her post, "Meeting with Marian for her new project, "First Yaya"!
Also present during the meeting are executive producer Joy Lumboy-Pili, writer-director Jojo Nones, and Marian's managers from Triple A talents Mike Tuviera and Rams David.
Before GMA-7 announced that Marian will top-bill the Kapuso series, Dedicatoria and the other production heads of First Yaya already met with Gabby Concepcion last Wednesday, November 27.
This will be the first time that Marian will work with Gabby in a teleserye.
During Gabby's contract signing with GMA-7 in September 2017, he already expressed his wish of working with Marian in a TV project.
First Yaya is Marian's teleserye comeback after her last series in 2017, Super Ma'am.
The Kapuso network has yet to announce when will First Yaya air on GMA-7's prime-time block.
