Fil-Am singer Francisco Martin once again impressed the judges of American Idol Season 18 when he performed in the show's Hollywood Week.
During the March 16 (U.S. time) episode of American Idol, Francisco played the guitar while he performed the song "Hold Back the River."
For the first Hollywood week, the contestants had to choose the genre that they wanted to be judged in. Francisco opted to be part of the "Singer-Songwriter" category.
Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan looked at each other while showing their appreciation for Francisco's number.
After the performance, Lionel stood up and gave a standing ovation to the 18-year-old college student from San Francisco, California. "My boy," said Lionel proudly about Francisco.
