Jolina Magdangal has her own video footage and recordings of her TV appearances and shows in the ‘90s!
She proudly showed on her Instagram account yesterday, December 9, the Betamax tapes recording her shows Ang TV and Abangan… Ang Susunod Na Kabanata.
She wrote in her caption, “’Betamax [matiyaga] naming nirerecord ang mga paglabas sa tv. May betamax player pa kaya? #JolinaBuhay90s”
Jolina also kept a copy of the cassette tape version of Ang TV’s Christmas album, which she shared on a separate Instagram post.
She wrote, “Casette tape!!! Side A and Side B. Pag walang rewinder, ballpen o pencil nalang ang pang ikot. Who can relate? #JolinaBuhay90s”
Jolina started her career in the early ‘90s, as part of ABS-CBN Talent Center (now Star Magic). Her first major TV show was Ang TV.
Along with Claudine Barretto and Judy Ann Santos, Jolina was considered as one of the iconic actresses of ABS-CBN in the ‘90s.
Apart from doing TV shows and movies, Jolina also became famous for her songs and colorful fashion statements, and popularized butterfly and flower clips.
Jolina’s love team with Marvin Agustin, which started in the 1996 youth-oriented series Gimik, also earned a huge following among ABS-CBN and GMA-7 viewers.
