Pinoy Big Brother: Connect housemate Justin Dizon apologized to Jie-Ann Armero for his "insensitive" remark.
Justin, 22, is tagged as the "Courageous Cabalen of Pampanga," while Jie-Ann, 16, is the "Kwelang Fangirl ng Sarangani."
Last Friday, December 17, Justin trended on Twitter because of a clip from ABS-CBN's reality show where he was seen telling Jie-Ann "marumi ka nga pala."
He made that remark after telling her that she has become the subject of conversation among housemates because they couldn't understand why she doesn't take a bath on a daily basis.
During her heart-to-heart talk with Big Brother much later, Jie-Ann confessed that she rarely takes a bath back in her hometown in Sarangani because of water shortage.
She explained that one cointainer of water costs PHP12, and her family could only afford three containers, which are used for their drinking water and for washing the dishes.
"Kaya minsan, hindi po ako nakakaligo," she said.
JIE-ANN BREAKS DOWN; JUSTIN SAYS SORRY
Jie-Ann was never bothered by Justin's jokes, but the thought that her bathing habit had caused awkwardness in Bahay ni Kuya made her sad.
She broke down, and tearfully told her housemates, "Pasensiya kayo kasi...dahil minsan lang ako naliligo dahil wala kaming tubig, nasanay ako..."
At this point, housemate Russu Laurente intervened and said that they shouldn't have judged her and assumed "hindi siya naliligo kasi dugyot siya."

Justin agreed with Russu saying he "lacked understanding."
"I mean, like, I joke about it all the time. So if ever you felt offended for those jokes, I wanna say sorry for them, kasi, yun nga, I forgot to realize na iba tayo...
"I wanna say sorry for saying those jokes to you because they're insensitive.
"Hindi ko naisip initially your background and my background, how different they are.
"I'll try my best to be sensitive on how you feel."
By this time, Jie-Ann was already laughing in between her tears. She also told Justin that she doesn't get hurt by his jokes.

JUSTIN'S CONVERSATION WITH BIG BROTHER
When it was Justin's turn at the confession room, he again owned up to his mistake.
"There was a very quick introspection on my part na parang, 'Oh yeah, you didn't even think about that.'
"It's still a responsibility to learn from your mistake, and learn something about it, apologize, and magkaroon nga ng character development."
The housemates were able to patch things up and also learned their lesson from what happened.
