Is Kris Bernal transferring to ABS-CBN?
This was one of the questions asked during her True or False Q&A session on Instagram on May 1, 2021.
A netizen asked: “May balak kang lumipat sa 2 pero na-wrong timing lang?”
True or false, Kris did not give a straight answer.
Instead, she wrote as her reply, “Kung saan ako dalhin ni Lord.
“I never choose or reject a project because I see opportunities as valuable so I consider every role or show that is given to me.
"As I said, kung saan may trabaho, doon ako.”

Another netizen asked Kris, “Gustong lumipat sa ibang network?”
To which Kris anwered, “Only if there’s an opportunity or wherever I’ll get accepted that’s where I’ll go for.”

But she gave a direct and pointed answer when a netizen asked: "I heard you have a new project with GMA?"
Her quick answer: "False! So far, there isn't any offer yet of a new show."

Kris was a contract artist of GMA-7 for 14 years until 2020, beginning in 2006 after winning the Ultimate Love Team title of StarStruck: The Next Level with Mart Escudero.
Instead of Mart, however, Kris was paired with Aljur Abrenica. They became one of the prized love teams of the Kapuso network at that time, and top-billed several top-rating programs, such as Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin (2009) and The Last Prince (2010).
When her love team with Aljur ended, Kris went solo as lead actress in GMA-7's top-rating afternoon dramas Koreana (2010), Hiram na Puso (2012), and Impostora (2017).
In September 2020, Kris revealed that her contract was not renewed by GMA Artist Center.
In November 2020, Kris joined Cornerstone Entertainment as her new management. She also did the weekly show Ate ng Ate Ko on TV5.
In March 2021, Kris had a brief appearance in GMA-7’s Owe My Love as the young version of Benjamin Alves’s mother.
