Did you know that popular TV news personality Connie Sison once had a stint in a TV drama anthology?
It was for an episode of Coney Reyes On Camera top-billed and produced by veteran actress Coney Reyes.
The official account of GMA-7 morning show, Unang Hirit, shared a throwback photo on Instagram of a young Connie on the set of the show.
Based on Unang Hirit's caption, Connie's character was not included in the original script.
The young Connie got in the show when the episode director saw her and promptly included her in the cast as Coney's daughter!
Connie recalled, “Isa lang ang linya ko diyan: Mommy, may kabit si Daddy!”
Upon seeing the uploaded Instagram post on May 19, 2021, Connie commented, "Hahaha! Grabe yung bangs ko dito"
The Unang Hirit post did not specify the year the episode was shown nor the age of Connie in the picture.
Connie was never again seen on television after her cameo stint in Coney Reyes On Camera until years later when she became a TV reporter and host.
Currently, she is part of GMA's News and Public Affairs, hosting Unang Hirit and Gtv's newscast, Balitanghali.
