TV5's game-variety show, Sing Galing!, is set to launch its newest edition titled Sing Galing: Sing-lebrity Edition this September 2021.
As the title of the edition suggests, the game show will have celebrity contestants vying to become the champion.
While competing, the contestants are expected to bring smiles to the audience, those at home called the "Kaawit-bahay."
As described to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) by Cignal content planning and management manager Rachel Relucio, the celebrity contestants are "celebrities sila in their own right, whether sa pageant iyan or sa sports pero hindi talaga sila kilala professionally as a singer."
The ultimate champion also gets to help his or her chosen "Bida-Ficiary" or beneficiary.
Three celebrity "sing-testants" will face each other every week to win the grand prize and move to the semi-finals round.
As seen for the first time on PEP.ph, Sing Galing! reveals the identity of its first 12 contestants who will be part of the show's first four episodes.
Sing Galing!: Sing-lebrity Edition is set to premiere on Saturday, September 18, on TV5's prime-time block.
