The love team of Charlie Dizon and Joshua Garcia in the ABS-CBN prime-time series Viral Scandal is fast gaining its own fanbase.
In the story, Rica (Charlie) becomes an associate in Kyle’s (Joshua) company.
Viewers like it that Kyle accepts Rica without prejudice and judgment despite the scandalous video showing her and Councilor Jigs (Markus Paterson) purportedly having sex when, in fact, she is being raped.
But an even more intriguing team-up seems to have stolen the thunder from the Joshua-Charlie love team.
It is after Markus pokes fun at an outtake of a confrontation scene between his character and Joshua’s.
He posts the clip via Instagram on January 24, 2022, and the question "Shall we?" is heard.
Markus writes in his caption, “swipe to see kung anong ibig sabihin ng ‘Shall We?’”
Using Instagram’s swipe left feature, Markus uploads two more photos revealing what happens.
The first photo shows Jameson smiling knowingly while looking at Markus and Joshua being sweet and holding each other’s cheeks!
In the next photo, Markus, Joshua, and Jameson are seen laughing at the stunt they've just pulled.
Markus adds the hashtags “#SorryRica” and “#NewGuyWhoDis,” as well as the episode’s own hashtag, #VSStressfullyYours.
Joshua reacts to Markus’ post with a laughing emoji.
Kyle Echarri also plays along and writes in the caption, “Kinikilig ata si @hashtag_jameson”
Jameson replies, “you know it [laughing emoji]”
Netizens, however, have been quick to note the connection of the three pranksters to Janella Salvador.
Joshua and Jameson were once paired with Janella in TV projects, while Markus is currently Janella's partner and the father of her child, Jude.
But mostly they went along with the joke, saying Joshua and Markus would pass off as a love team in a Boys Love (BL) series.
