A contestant from It’s Showtime’s “Tawag ng Tanghalan” went viral because of her reaction after she was declared as the winner.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022, contestant Querubin Llavore was proclaimed the defending champion, beating two-time winner Abbey Rivera and getting the “golden mikropono."
Querubin was ecstatic because it was her fourth time to join “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”
She couldn't help but shed tears of joy.
The camera captured her "crying" moment from various angles before focusing on Querubin."
The defending champion seemed to realize that there was a camera, so she abruptly stopped crying and did a funny pose: She stuck her tongue out and did a peace sign.
Afterwards, she resumed crying.
Viewers got amused with Querubin’s funny antics, and some of them posted about it on social media.
It was started by Twitter user @ejpng_, where he compared Querubin’s reaction to accidentally typing a wink emoji in a series of crying emojis.
At press time, the tweet has 119k retweets and 731k likes.
The viral tweet was picked up by the Instagram account @kabulastugan, which usually posts funny moments caught on cam.
