Paolo Gumabao is officially taking over the role of Kiko Estrada in Darna: The TV Series.
On Wednesday, February 23, Paolo reposted on Instagram a PEP.ph report that he is joining the cast of Darna.
Paolo added a note in the caption that he would be portraying the role of Noah Vallesteros in the series.
During the cast reveal of Darna in October 2021, it was announced that Kiko would be playing Noah.
In February 2022, PEP.ph received a feed from a reliable source that Kiko had to drop out of the cast due to a scheduling conflict.
Paolo was then chosen to replace Kiko.
Afterwards, JRB Creative Production, the ABS-CBN drama unit producing Darna, posted outtakes from the show’s taping on social media.
On Sunday, February 27, Paolo also posted an Instagram story inside the dressing room of ABS-CBN Soundstage where tapings for Darna are being held.
Darna is top-billed by Jane de Leon in the title role, Janella Salvador as Valentina, and Joshua Garcia as the male lead.
