In early March 2022, there were rumors posted by netizens that Idol Philippines winner Zephanie was going to be part of GMA-7's All-Out Sundays, the rival program of ABS-CBN's ASAP Natin ‘To.
Based on her social media posts, Zephanie is currently in Dubai performing for the Dubai Expo, and has not reacted to the hearsays.
On March 16, Zephanie shared a post from ABS-CBN’s Star Music promoting her rendition of Sarah Geronimo’s “Isa Pang Araw,” which is part of her self-titled album.
Much earlier this year, Zephanie was thankful to ABS-CBN for her comeback on ASAP Natin ‘To and It’s Showtime in 2021 after her stint in TV5's short-lived show, Sunday Noontime Live, in October 2020.
Zephanie had said during her PEP Live interview on January 25, 2022, “Sobrang nagpapasalamat po ako sa ABS and sa ASAP po na kahit po may ganun na medyo nagkaroon ng maraming…
"Parang naging intriguing yung nangyari na iyon, nakabalik pa rin po ako kasi ABS is really, I can say, is my home.”
However, Zephanie's comeback appearance in ASAP Natin 'To was also short-lived because she decided to join the Now United Bootcamp in Abu Dhabi in September 2021.
During her PEP Live interview, Zephanie revealed that after this experience, her management, Cornerstone Entertainment, has been plotting a new career path for her.
Zephanie explained, “Sa ngayon po kasi, talagang siguro po, after ng naging experience ko sa Abu Dhabi, nagkaroon ng kaunting mga changes or bagong mga plans.
“So currently wala po ako ngayon sa ASAP, but me and my Cornerstone family and sa album sa Star Music, ito po yung winu-work on namin.
"Abangan niyo guys, marami pa iyan.”
But will she be back on ASAP soon?
Zephanie answered, “Naku, siguro ayoko kayo i-spoil, but abangan niyo na lang kung anong mangyayari kasi mas maganda di ba kung ‘into the unknown?’”
Zephanie appeared on PEP Live to promote her first self-titled album released by ABS-CBN’s recording arm, Star Music.
At present, both Cornerstone Entertainment and GMA-7 have yet to issue an official announcement if Zephanie is really transferring to the Kapuso network.
