Jerome Ponce will be seen again in an ABS-CBN drama series.
He has just joined the cast of ABS-CBN’s longest-running prime-time series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Jerome’s first appearance as the character Capt. Adrian Jimenez was shown yesterday, May 3, 2022.
Aside from Jerome, Pinoy Big Brother 737 Big Winner Jimboy Martin also joined the cast as Capt. Jeremy Ibalos.
In yesterday's episode, they were introduced by Maj. Albert De Vela (Geoff Eigenmann) to Lily Hidalgo (Lorna Tolentino) as new members of the Black Ops, the group that is running after Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin).
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano serves as a comeback for Jerome, whose last appearance in an ABS-CBN drama series was A Soldier’s Heart, which ended in September 2020.
After A Soldier’s Heart, Jerome had stints in TV5 shows, including Sunday Kada, Sunday Noontime Live, and Gen Z.
He also did the Boys Love series Ben X Jim, which was produced by Regal Entertainment.
Currently, some talents of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic are being allowed to do projects outside the network after its broadcast franchise was junked by Congress in July 2020.
In late 2021, Jerome appeared again in an episode of Click, Like, Share, which was produced by ABS-CBN for iWant TFC.
