ABS-CBN Entertainment is bringing back Idol Philippines.
Teasers about the new season, which is now a co-production of ABS-CBN and Brightlight Productions, have been airing since April 2022.
Earlier tonight, May 20, the new panel of judges was revealed during TV Patrol.
Season one judges Regine Velasquez and Moira dela Torre are keeping their posts.
Vice Ganda and James Reid, who are no longer part of the show, will be replaced by Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda.
ABS-CBN has yet to announce who will host the latest season of Idol Philippines.
The first season, which aired in 2019, was hosted by Billy Crawford, who is now hosting TV5 shows Lunch Out Loud and Masked Singer Pilipinas.
The first winner of Idol Philippines was Zephanie Dimaranan.
Zephanie, who has since dropped her surname, is now a talent of GMA-7’s Sparkle.
ABS-CBN has yet to announce the airing date of Idol Philippines.
