Paliwanag ni Diego, "Angel and I were with UNTV for nine years na at the time I was talking with One PH. My talks with them gained traction and clarity mga Febrauary na.

"At the end of the day, we accepted the offer with our family as a primary reason."

Sang-ayon ni Angela, "It was a really hard decision for me. Almost ten years na ako with UNTV.

"At the end of the day, main consideration for my choice was the welfare of my family."

Was there an effort on UNTV's part to make both of you stay? Did they offer anything para huwag lang kayong umalis?

Sagot ni Diego, "When we informed UNTV, there was a brief discussion.

"But because UNTV's advocacy is public service, I did not want to demand anything anymore kasi it would be unfair to UNTV.

"So it took a week, more or less."

Saad niya, "This was one of the hardest decisions I have made because UNTV is family to me, we’ve been with them for almost 10 years, so it’s really difficult. I am truly grateful to UNTV.

"I guess it’s just one of those things in your life that you gotta do, take that leap of faith, know that it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of new beginnings."

SMOOTH TRANSITION AT ONE PH

Optimistic si Diego sa ginawang career move.

"Although I truly miss UNTV, I am happy with the choices we made.

"Although fairly new pa lang sa One PH, they trusted me agad with being a co-anchor with Cheryl Cosim who is already established," ani Diego.

Pagsang-ayon ni Angela, "Yes. I am happy! They trusted we with my anchoring their prime-time weekend news program, One Balita weekend."

Ani Diego, "The moment I left UNTV, I was engaged agad in preparations for my transfer, so busy agad. Kaya wala na yung intriga from my stand point.

"Transition was very smooth, mabait sila and welcomed me sincerely from the bosses, crew, and to Cheryl Cosim, they all made me feel at ease."

"Transition was smooth naman. UNTV work as usual sila and ako busy agad with my transition sa One PH," sang-ayon ni Angela sa mister.

Determinado si Diego na magpakitang-gilas sa One PH: "I want to build my own legacy as a news anchor, a seperate legacy from my dad's.

"I want to prove to people I did not get this job because anak ako ni Angelo Castro Jr."

Dagdag ni Angela, "I am excited for what’s in store for me. I am looking forward to work with the pillars of broadcast industry."
