Karla Estrada is set to return to Magandang Buhay for her last episode as host, according to the show's head writer Darla Sauler in an Instagram post today, June 24, 2022

Darla's caption: “Reunited for the farewell episode of Momshie Karla Estrada on Magandang Buhay! Good luck sa new chapter and journey mo mare! Catch this episode soon.”
Karla, a mainstay of Magandang Buhay with Melai and Jolina, has been on leave from the show since October 2022 when she filed her candidacy to run for representative of Tingog party-list group.
The total votes earned two seats for Tingog. But Karla—as the third nominee— will not have a seat in the congress.
The party-list group is headed by Yedda Romualdez, who voted against the renewal of ABS-CBN's franchise in July 2020.
ABS-CBN then released a short statement respecting her decision to run for public office.
Karla, for her part, said that she asked permission from ABS-CBN bosses.
During Karla's leave, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Judy Ann Santos by turns have been pinch-hitting as guest co-hosts.
