Sabi ni Lara sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) via Facebook Messenger noong August 11, "The first one was 2006 where I played myself in 'The Precious Lara Quigaman Story.'
"The last one was just three months ago with Elijah Alejo, 'Batang Ina.'"
Bilang isang ina, naka-relate si Lara sa kanyang role bilang si Jane.
Aniya, "I felt her frustration and hopelessness.
"Yung gusto niya gawin lahat para sa anak niya, but she couldn't because of her disability.
"There are many times that I feel na hindi enough yung nagagawa ko para sa mga anak ko, yung kahit gaano kahirap pipilitin ko parin gawin or kumilos para sa kanila."
Ang naging challenge sa kanya ay ang pag-arte bilang bulag, kaya pinaghandaan daw niya ito.
Sa pagpapatuloy ng dating beauty queen, "Before taping and during scene breaks, I would walk around with eyes closed just to get a feel of how it is not to be able to see.
"During the scenes, I would look in the direction of my co-actors but never meeting their eyes, nakatingin lang ako sa kawalan."
Pag-amin pa ni Lara, "Mahirap umaarte nang hindi mo ka-eye contact ang kausap mo. Usually sa co-actors ka huhugot ng emotion by looking at their eyes.
"So dun ako medyo nahirapan, yung umarte ng hindi sila nakikita."
Kasama niya sa episode sina Neil Ryan Sese as Jesus, Clarence Delgado as Gerald, Rosemarie Sarita as Nanay Nita, at Bryce Eusebio bilang Ace.
Ito ay sa direksiyon ni Mark Dela Cruz, sa panulat ni Vienuel Ello at pananaliksik ni Karen Lustica.

Samantala, busy si Lara sa kanyang mga projects, lalo't nabibigyan siya ng projects ng dalawang TV networks—ang GMA-7 at ang ABS-CBN.
Aniya, "Recently, most of my projects are with GMA. The last one was Wish ko Lang with Ryan Eigenmann. I also guested in Daig Ka ng Lola Ko and Imbestigador the past two months.
"Super grateful and blessed that both networks still consider me and trust me to play different characters."
Pagdating naman sa personal life, masaya si Lara sa pagiging wife and mother.
Bulalas ng aktres, "I love being a mom and a wife, hindi ko ma-imagine ang sarili ko to be anyone else.
"The feeling of being needed and meeting those needs and being appreciated by simple kisses and hugs are the best."
Sa Enero ay 12 years na silang kasal ng mister niyang si Marco Alcaraz.

"Secret? No secret, we only rely on God to keep us together.
"We are not perfect and we acknowledge that so we are able to be patient with another and remembering to forgive as God forgives.
"We fight with each other sometimes, but we always remember that we are one (for life), we are a team, so fight for our marriage."
