The biggest competition for drag queens will be back in the country!
Hit reality competition series Drag Race Philippines has been officially renewed for a second season.

The production company World of Wonder (WOW) made the announcement via its social-media platforms on October 19, 2022.
In an announcement, WOW also confirmed that the Untucked will be returning next season.
Untucked is a spin-off series featuring the behind-the-scenes drama and unseen footage of the drag race contestants.
WOW said (publihed as is),"Finally, Drag Race Philippines and Drag Race:Untucked have both been officially renewed for second seasons."

Aside from the second season of Drag Race Philippines and Untucked, WOW also revealed that Drag Race France season 2 has opened auditions, Drag Race España: All Stars in Spain has been commissioned, and Drag Race Sverige: Untucked has been green-lit in Sweden.
The announcement comes a week after Drag Race Philippines finished its first season on October 12, 2022, with Precious Paula Nicole being crowned as the Philippines' first-ever Drag Superstar.

Precious bested 11 other drag queens after 10 episodes of various challenges.
Drag Race Philippines is the latest franchised show of RuPaul's Drag Race, an Emmy award-winning reality drag competition from the brilliant mind of RuPaul and World of Wonder. The show first premiered in 2009.
The show premiered in the Philippines on August 17, 2022, with Paolo Ballesteros serving as the host.
KaladKaren and Jiggly Caliente are the mainstay judges, and Rajo Laurel, BJ Pascual and Jon Santos are the recurring judges.

Meanwhile, the target premiere date and casting of the second season of the local adaptation are yet to be revealed as of this writing.
