Kapamilya actress Dimples Romana was over the moon as she got up-close and personal with South Korean superstar Song Joong Ki.
Dimples took to Instagram to share her photo opportunity with Song Joong Ki taken at the 50th International Emmy Awards in New York City on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
As shown in the photo, Dimples and Song Joong Ki smiled at the camera.
The Filipino actress wrote in the caption (published as is): “Many of my dreams came true with that NYC [New York City] trip for the #iEmmys and I can’t wait to share them all with you, but for now, let me share this.”
Dimples couldn't help but fan girl at how humble and good-looking the Korean actor is.
“Hi Mr @hi_songjoongki. It was such a pleasure and huge honor to meet a fellow actor like you. I am a huge fan.
“We Filipinos LOVE youuuu [smiley, kiss, and heart emoji].
“P.s. he was super warm, Grabe so handsome in person lalo and super humble."
Dimples also manifested that she will work with Song Joong Ki.
“Okay Yun na muna guys. Just sharing my kilig as a fan halos hindi ako makahingaaaa nyaaan.”
“Manifesting that in this lifetime I get to work and act alongside him [pray and heart emoji.”
“LORD PLEASE,” she added.
Song Joong Ki is best known for his portrayals in the hit Korean drama series Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010), The Innocent Man (2012), Descendants of the Sun (2016), Arthdal Chronicles (2019), and Vincenzo (2021).
Meanwhile, seeing Dimples and Song Joong Ki prompted other celebrities and Filipino K-drama fans to leave comments on her post.
On June 20, 2022, Dimples announced that she is one of the jurors at the 50th International Emmy Awards.

This is her second time becoming a juror for the iEmmys.
According to the official website of the iEmmys, the jury panel represents “current trends in world television programming as well as a wide range of industry professionals from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.”
In her separate post, Dimples shared that it was a dream to meet her fellow academy members.
Dimple's caption read (published as is), "Began as an @iemmys juror and now an official member of the academy, International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences [heart emoji].
“What a dream to meet so many fellow academy members and industry partners in New York and get to be in the presence of inspiring creatives from all over the world.
