GMA-7’s Sunday All Stars ended its two-year run on August 2, 2015.
During the final gap of the Sunday variety show, hosts Janine Gutierrez, Heart Evangelista, Elmo Magalona, Lovi Poe, Andre Paras and premiere singers Jaya and Regine Velasquez thanked everyone who supported them.
“Mga Kapuso, it’s been two years at nagpapasalamat po kami sa taos-puso niyong pagtangkilik sa aming programa,” Janine told viewers.
Andre added,“We also like to thank God for wonderful talents and blessings He has given us to make you guys happy and entertained.”
Lovi then acknowledged the production staff by saying, “On behalf of the artists, the singers, the dancers, the opera, our band, our musical directors Mr. Raul Mitra and Mr. Mark Lopez and finally, the production staff.”
Heart expressed her optimism by saying, “We’d like to say thank you and goodbye and we hope to see you very soon.”
Jaya also acknowledged the directors who were behind previous variety shows--SOP andParty Pilipinas--Rico Gutierrez, Mark Reyes and Louie Ignacio, who left early.
Jaya pointed out, “We thank you so much for all of your support, from SOP which was 17 years ago, Party P[ilipinas], Sunday All Stars. To God be the glory!”
Regine then led the hosts in singing “Thanks to You.”
Sunday All Stars started as a two-hour show on June 16, 2013 with a Sunday noontime slot.
After a year, it moved to the 2:00 pm slot with a one and a half hour show until its last episode last Sunday.

Starting next Sunday, a new show will be airing on the noontime slot of the Kapuso Network.
Titled Sunday PINASaya, it will feature Marian Rivera and Ai-Ai delas Alas as its main hosts along with Julie Anne San Jose and Alden Richards, among others.
