If you could barely understand the jargon used in theprevious paragraph, then GMA-7's new show called Ka-blog is definitelyfor you. There's so much tech-speak going on among teens, the oldies might aswell have been living under a rock. With new terminology cropping up each day likespambots (another thing there for the haplessly clueless to google) on youraverage website's comments space, it's like a whole new universe out there.
Of course, there is social networking, blogging and e-mailing but it's adifferent story when things like phishing, twittering, and thread flaming startto come up. The acronyms, too, are a mouthful: PSP, DoTA, WoW, and MMORPG forgaming, and the likes of IDK, DND, ROFL and LMAO for chatting. Bridging thegeneration gap hasn't been easy before, but the evolving language makes it evenmore challenging.
