Lea Salonga turns to social media to address fans of her fellow coach, Sarah Geronimo, who took a break from the singing talent-search show The Voice.
The Broadway star asked Sarah's fans, collectively known as Popsters, to avoid sending negative vibes to The Voice Kids just because the Popstar Princess is not on the show.
She also clarified that it was Sarah who decided to take a break, which is the reason she's not part of the third season of The Voice Kids.
To the Popsters, it was Sarah that wanted to take a break. Please support her decision and don't send negative vibes to #TVK. Thanks.— Lea Salonga (@MsLeaSalonga) May 28, 2016
In connection with this, Luis also disclosed in a previous interview that he believes Sarah's reason for taking a break is valid.
“Naiintindihan ko naman kung bakit gusto muna niyang magpahinga sandali sa The Voice,” said Luis.
He also clarified that Sarah's absence on The Voice is only temporary.
#SHARON360. While doing her usual live-social media posts during The Voice Kids this weekend, Lea convinced her followers that the new coach, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, is a good addition to the coaches this season.
She even asked her Twitter followers to make #Sharon360 trend after her red chair did a 360-degree-turn instead of a 180-degree-turn during the “Blind Auditions.”
Sharon, on the other hand, made fun of the moment.
She said, “Sabi ng basher ko, baka raw hindi gumalaw ang silya. Tingnan mo, gumaan ako, dalawang beses umikot.
Check out what happened to Sharon's chair when she pushed the red button for Noel Comia Jr., who eventually picked Coach Lea and her FamiLea.
